Sam Sharfstein

Sam is a Legal Fellow for Janove PLLC. He supports attorneys on class action and arbitration matters.

Prior to joining Janove, Sam was a legal analyst at a plaintiffs’ boutique in Manhattan, where he assisted attorneys on class action and whistleblower matters in a variety of subject areas. He has also worked with a startup pioneering the use of generative artificial intelligence in the legal practice, in addition to previous experiences with the United States House Committee on Oversight and Reform and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Sam graduated from Harvard College with a BA in Economics, receiving magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa honors.

When he’s not working, you can find Sam playing basketball on courts throughout New York City, reading fantasy epics in Central Park, or rewatching the Sopranos.
